BEER WEEK 2025
Our focus for Beer Week and philosophy all year round is beer that is freshly brewed, always cold, always clean, and always tapped as quickly as possible. We align ourselves with local breweries that adopt this very same philosophy, sharing the same passion and desire for exceptional quality.
Our Beer Week events mainly focus on the 3 different regions in California. Northern, Central and Southern California. The other part of the story we want focus on is local fresh malt.
Malt is the story of beer. It is the heart and soul of a good pint. The local brewers and distillers who use Admiral Malt can tell a deeper story of regional beer character, terroir, the farmers who grow the barley, the traditional art of floor malting, and freshly kilned malt.
Farms in the Sacramento Valley and Tule Lake, California, grow no-till or organic barley for Admiral's floor-malt. Floor malting is a disappearing art, revered by brewers around the globe. They gently turn the malt on the germination floor by hand. It creates flavor components no other method can replicate. Fresh malt from these kilns tastes unlike malt produced by larger, industrial malting facilities.
